Fenix HP11 "Conquered" Mount Elbrus

Mount Elbrus is an extinct volcano located in the western Caucasus mountain range with an elevation of 5642meters and it is the highest peak in the Caucasus mountain range, Russia and also the highest mountain in Europe.

 

Last Month, nine climbers and one instructor from Ukraine wearing Fenix HP11 successfully reached the peak and saw the splendid scenery after overcoming various difficulties.

 Ten of them began the long trek from the city of Pyatigorsk in Russia.

 Above 3300 meters, there was no vegetation梠nly stones sprinkled with snow, making the climbing more difficult.

 After two days' training, the climbers arrived at the asylum "Eleven" at 17:00 p.m., then the weather began to be bad and the temperature started to drop rapidly. Four of them decided to climb the snowcat to go up to the height of 4800. And they reached it at 01:21 a.m., the rest of climbers got there on 3:40 a.m.

 During the night climbing, Fenix HP11 helped a lot with its light weight and easy adjustment.

 Around 08:00 a.m., they arrived in the "saddle" of Elbrus with an altitude of 5300 meters.

Strobe and SOS
Press and hold the side switch for 1 second to enter into Strobe mode.
Press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds to enter into SOS mode.
When the flashlight is in Strobe mode or SOS mode, a single press on the side switch will return the flashlight to general lighting mode.

Intelligent Memory Circuit 
The flashlight will remember the last used general mode (it will not remember any flashing modes). So the next time you turn on the flashlight, it will light up at the last used general mode.   

Burst Output
When the flashlight is on Burst output, the LED is run at its maximum rated current and the battery is at its maximum discharge rate. Therefore the use of high quality battery is recommended.
PD32 (ULTIMATE EDITION) will accumulate a lot of heat when it is working in Burst output. To avoid overheating, the flashlight will automatically drop down into the turbo brightness level after working in Burst output for 3 minutes. If the non-stop Burst output is needed, just reset it again. Prolong use of the Burst output may reduce the life span of the flashlight or even cause permanent damage to the flashlight.

Low-voltage Warning Function
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight will downshift to a lower brightness level. When the voltage level drops below the preset level of low output mode, the flashlight will blink three times every five minutes to?remind you?to replace the battery.


Over-heat Protection:
PD32 (ULTIMATE EDITION) will accumulate a lot of heat when it is working in Turbo output. To avoid overheating, the flashlight will automatically drop down into the high brightness level after working in Turbo output for 30 minutes. If the non-stop Turbo output is needed, just reset it again.

Operation Instruction

Two buttons control the TK75’s operation. The right side button with a power source mark is for ON/OFF. The left side button with a recycling mark controls MODES & BRIGHTNESS LEVELS.
A single press on the power switch turns the TK75 on or off.
With the flashlight on, a single press on the mode switch switches the light between the Turbo→Low→Mid→High→brightness levels;
To enter into the strobe mode, press and hold the side mode switch for about one second. It will flash between 6Hz and 15Hz every two seconds.
To enter into SOS mode, press and hold the side mode switch for about three seconds.
While in strobe or SOS mode, a single press on the side mode switch returns the TK75 to non-flashing mode where brightness can be adjusted.
Whether it is on or off, the light will enter into strobe or SOS mode if the mode switch is pressed and held.
With advanced circuitry, the TK75 will remember the last-used brightness level (not flashing modes) the next time it is turned on.
